What’s Tyler “Ninja” Blevins’ Net Worth?

Tyler Blevins, aka “Ninja,” is an American online personality and gamer worth an estimated $25 Million. Most well-known for playing “Fortnite,” game Blevins has built up over 24 million followers, 2.5 billion viewers through YouTube, along with 17 million subscribers on Twitch. With a monthly cost of $5 per membership, he earns between $500,000 to $1 million per month by playing games on video.

In June of 2018, Ninja signed a partnership with Red Bull Esports, and that same month was the first time he was the very first Esports player to appear on the front cover of “ESPN The Magazine.”

On August 1 of 2019, Blevins declared that he had decided to leave Twitch and transfer to the Microsoft-owned platform Mixer, and at that time, “Ninja” was Twitch’s most-followed active channel. Early Life

Tyler Blevins was born Richard Tyler Blevins on June 5, 1991, located in Detroit, Michigan. He was raised within Grayslake, Illinois, with his mother Cynthia, Chuck, and younger brothers John Chris and John Chris. Both of his parents are of Welsh origin, and Chuck has introduced Tyler to the world of video games from an early age. While at Grayslake Central High School, Blevins played soccer and was employed in Noodles & Company. He started competing at video games, joined professional gaming associations, and streamed his games live during his time at the University of Wisconsin’s Silver Lake College

Tyler was introduced to fellow player Jessica Goch at a “Halo” tournament in 2010, and they began their relationship in 2013. The couple was married on August 17, 2017, in the Caribbean. Goch is now called Jess Blevins, is Ninja’s manager and a famous streamer, having over 224,000 subscribers on YouTube and more than 500,000 Twitch followers.

Career

In 2009, Blevins began playing professionally in video gaming, starting by playing “Halo 3.” The companies he’s played with are Team Liquid, Cloud9, and Renegades. He began streaming in the year 2011 with the games “H1Z1” and “PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds” (“PUBG”). Stream, breaking the record for the biggest number of viewers on one Twitch stream. This resulted in Epic Games pairing gamers with famous people at E3 2018. In addition, Ninja and his friend electronic artist Marshmello were the winners of the “Fortnite Battle Royale “Fortnite Battle Royale” event. Blevins beat his prior Twitch record in April, with 667,000 viewers watching his stream during Ninja Vegas 2018.

In 2018, Tyler teamed up with Red Bull Esports and held the Red Bull Rise Till Dawn “Fortnite” event in Chicago. According to Ninja’s estimates, he earned more than 10 million dollars in 2018. In 2020 and Epic Games honored his contribution to “Fortnite’s” success by adding the Ninja aesthetic skin for the game. Additionally, in the report by Reuters, Electronic Arts paid Blevins $1 million to promote the Battle Royale’s game “Apex Legends” in 2019. Ninja quit Twitch in August of 2019 and started streaming exclusively through Mixer. After Mixer closed in July of 2020, he began broadcasting through the YouTube channel. In early 2020, he earned more than $500,000 a month through the “Fortnite” streams.

The year 2015 saw Tyler and his entire family in the show “Family Feud,” and they played in “Celebrity Family Feud” in 2019. In 2018 Ninja released his collection “Ninjawerks: Vol. 1,” which is a collection of songs by electronic artists like Alesso, Tycho, and Nero, as well as the Astralwerks record label. In 2019, Ninja appeared in the NFL’s “The 100-Year Game” ad, which aired during the Super Bowl, and in August of the same year, Ninja published his first book, “Get Good: My Ultimate Guide to Gaming.” In 2019, he performed his part on The Fox series “The Masked Singer,” singing the Lil Nas”X”‘s “Old Town Road” and Devo’s “Whip It” in an Ice cream cone-themed costume. MS Deal/Payout

We’ve already mentioned it. In August of this year, Tyler shocked the gaming world when he announced that he had signed a contract with Microsoft to shift the entirety of his stream to Mixer. Another esports star, Shroud, was the next to follow Ninja to Mixer about two months later.

In June of 2020, Microsoft announced it was closing Mixer and converting Mixer into Facebook Gaming. Facebook reported that it made Ninja and Shroud twice their earnings in partnership with Microsoft to join. They both declined to move to Facebook. In the end, Microsoft was forced to start a buyout agreement, resulting in Ninja being reportedly given $30m and Shroud the $10 million needed to quit. In August of 2020, they both joined Twitch.

Between the buyout and the amount that he made in the single years of his involvement in the Mixer agreement, Ninja is believed to have made the sum of $40 million from Microsoft.

Charitable Work

Tyler is a zealous supporter of charitable work. He collected more than $110,000 for the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention in a charity stream held in 2018. In addition, when he participated in an April 2018 “Fortnite Battle Royale” Esports event, he gave $2500 to the Alzheimer’s Association for each game he won. The month prior, Ninja also helped raise $340,000 for #Clips4Kids and gave one million dollars to charities following taking home at the “Fortnite” Pro-Am event in 2018. Finally, in 2020, as part of the Coronavirus epidemic, Tyler and Jess donated $150,000 to Feeding America.

Award and Honours

In the year 2018, Blevins was awarded his Gaming and Live Streamer awards at the Streamy Awards, and he was named Esports Person Of The Year during The Esports Awards and Content Creator of The Year for The Game Awards 2018. He also took home the Live Streamer award again and was named Twitch Streamer of the Year during the Shorty Awards. In addition, “Time” magazine included Ninja in its list of the 100 most influential individuals in the world in 2018.
